G&T supported BXR with the fit-out of its new luxury gym on the 25th floor of 22 Bishopsgate, making it the highest in the City of London. The gym includes panoramic views of London, an extensive selection of elite equipment, well-appointed changing facilities, steam room, high performance studios and a glass climbing wall.
G&T successfully led the project through logistical, acoustic, mechanical and supply issues, as well as the co-ordination of multiple stakeholders both with the BXR and landlord teams.
The client challenged G&T to deliver a gym that offers comprehensive class schedules, full gym facilities, nightclub-style lighting and audio for high intensity work outs. This required significant noise mitigation methods that were implemented throughout the design and construction phases of the project and were closely managed by G&T.
