HS2 Phase 1
HS2 is a brand new, low carbon, high-speed railway critical in supporting the UK's economic growth and tackling climate change. The project aims to act as a catalyst for growth and help level-up the country, boosting growth in the Midlands and North and opening up new employment and leisure opportunities for millions of people.
G&T is approaching its 10th anniversary of continuous support to the HS2 project. Our service provision continues to evolve to meet the needs of the project and we are currently providing Supply Chain & Supplier Relationship Management, Post Contract Cost Management, Procurement Support Service, Commercial Review and Assurance, Benchmarking and Business Case Support.
HS2 Phase One will include construction of four brand new stations - two major depots, 32 miles of tunnel, nine miles of viaduct and 140 bridges. Phase 2A, which extends the line to Crewe, is the first step to unlocking transformational rail connectivity in the Midland and the North.
