Axis South West will create a clean, level area ready for development to accommodate approximately 1.8m sq ft of distribution and warehouse space.
All existing buildings on the former Avlon Works 100-acre site will be demolished and all materials removed including the dismantling and removal of all machines, pipes, tanks etc for sale and re-use.
Foundations, road structures and drains will be removed to a depth of 3m, along with any contaminated soils and the existing lake infilled. The base level of the whole site area will then be raised by 0.75m to create a platform for future development.
