Stevenage Bioscience Catalyst (SBC) is the UK's first open innovation biomedical catalyst providing state of the art facilities for start-up and biotech companies.
G&T's specialist life cycle consultants provided mechanical and electrical asset life cycle replacement cost analyses for the existing Incubator and Accelerator (Phase 1) and New Build Phase 2 buildings within the SBC campus. This involved engaging with the client's operational and finance teams and utilising existing assets and operating information to provide life cycle cost advice and analysis in relation to Phase 2.
The outcomes helped to support SBC's long term asset replacement and operational budget planning and identified M&E assets which posed significant risk to availability and viability of accommodation being provided for their current and future tenants.
