Aberdeen Music Hall
This complex renovation and conservation of one of Scotland's oldest concert halls has restored many of the original features and created new public and creative areas with improved access.
Extensive underground excavation work was carried out to expand the basement of the Grade A Listed building and the auditorium has been significantly upgraded to make it fit for the 21st Century while retaining its exceptional acoustics. A fully accessible main entrance and public foyer replaces the former stepped entrance.
The 1,300 seat auditorium has been refurbished and new flexible studios, creative learning spaces and upgraded artists' facilities provide additional space for Aberdeen Performing Arts.
