Atomic Weapons Establishment

Atomic Weapons Establishment

G&T's services at AWE included project managing the reconfiguration, integration, migration, upgrade and cutover of its central business-wide planning system.

The successful and seamless Go Live of 'Oracle Primavera P6 EPPM' on prem delivered increased productivity (in particular when the ability to work remotely became essential), improved data quality, created the building block for best practices and enhanced the user experience for hundreds of users - from planners, to project controls and project managers.

In parallel, it was recognised that schedule risk modelling and analysis of major projects was being conducted using outdated, unsupported and redundant software.  The replacement tool was assessed by going out to market, testing against requirements and scoring on a range of criteria before being carefully selected and implemented.

G&T has been and continues to be the subject matter expert, supporting the above projects as well as embedding continuous improvements across various project controls functions.
