Hard FM Services Procurement

Kent & Medway NHS & Social Care Partnership Trust, together with Kent Community Health NHS Trust, appointed G&T to undertake a review and development of the base services specification of its hard FM services contract.聽

The Trusts were looking to procure their hard FM services contract for a five-year period across approximately 100 sites.聽 Services included helpdesk, planned preventative maintenance and reactive maintenance services - mechanical, electrical, plumbing, fabric and public health works.

G&T's involvement included the review and development of the existing services specification together with聽development of the performance schedule and creation of SMART Key Performance Indicators, the production of the commercial model (Price Book) as well as quality and pricing evaluation of the bid submission.

Our engagement provided the Trusts with:

An effective performance management regime with relevant and measurable Key Performance Indicators to drive service provider delivery and continuous improvement
A commercial schedule (Price Book) providing transparency and detailed costs at a site level to aid service management and budgeting
Enhancement of the service specification based on G&T's wide experience developing service scope documents
