IPG Mediabrands - 16 Old Bailey

IPG Mediabrands appointed G&T to assist with its search for a new London Headquarters ahead of a lease expiry and the desire to stay in a similar location to its current offices was fulfilled by the selection of 16 Old Bailey.

The transaction structure incorporates a bespoke turnkey arrangement with the developer acting as the employer under the building contract.

The design balances client-facing pitch and entertainment spaces alongside agency-specific individuality. The inclusion of a Grade II Listed space at the front of the building presented an opportunity to balance the old and new – an opportunity which seldom presents itself in commercial fit-out.

G&T has been leading the design phase with partners MCM and Cundall during the recent COVID-19 pandemic. The ability and flexibility required to adapt the design and brief to account for the post-COVID world, while maintaining the strategic programme, has been imperative.

G&T has been exemplary in project managing our move from three London locations into a stunning central site that will house all 10 businesses into a single Mediabrands building at 16 Old Bailey. They have put together a very tight timeline and have ensured that each of the 20+ partners we're working with are delivering accordingly. That level of project management has given us the total confidence that any amends to the plan or timeline challenges will be handled without any delays.
