The project involves the construction of 657 new student bedrooms split over three blocks being Horwood A&B and Horwood Tower Block C, designed as cluster flats/apartments with a mix of en-suite facilities and shared bathrooms.
The new student accommodation, being designed to achieve BREEAM 'Excellent', will be fed from Keele University's own district heating network and infrastructure.
A new courtyard will be created for student use along with associated new infrastructure for a new car park and road to the Medical Centre.
Works are due to commence on site in August 2022 with completion in July 2024.
