The Dorchester Hotel
The world-famous Mayfair hotel is undergoing its first refurbishment in more than 30 years. The phased works are being undertaken while the hotel remains open and in use by guests.
Phase 1 has refurbished the existing ground floor all day dining Promenade, Dorchester Bar and reception as well as guestrooms on the first and second floors. It also involved structural modifications to remove an existing mezzanine and replace the existing canopy as part of landscaping works to the hotel forecourt and guest drop off.
Phase 2 will see the refurbishment of the guestrooms on floors three to eight while Phase 3 involves a vertical extension on the roof - creating both new guest suites, a rooftop bar, restaurant with retractable glazed roof and a private dining area.
