The Randolph Hotel - Graduate Oxford
The Grade II Listed hotel has undergone a complete renovation across all the common spaces, the lobby and guest rooms. This included a Wellness Centre featuring treatment rooms, a sauna, steam room and jacuzzi. Works also involved a full services upgrade including fire misting systems, CAT 6 data and heating installations
The design of the 151-room hotel takes inspiration from the university鈥檚 history, paying homage to its storied innovators and alumni. In-room art includes paintings of Oxford alumni and author Oscar Wilde, as well as a painting of the 鈥楽teamboat Ladies鈥� which tells the story of over 700 women who travelled by steamboat ferry to obtain degrees at a time when their own universities withheld graduation from female students.
Founded in 2014, Graduate Hotels currently has 30 US locations in addition to the two new UK properties (Cambridge and Oxford) with each Graduate Hotels property paying homage to the heritage of its university-anchored town.
