G&T's Tony Burton Receives Prestigious CIC Membership

G&T Partner, Tony Burton, has been awarded an Honorary Affiliate Membership from the Construction Industry Council, recognising his services to the CIC and construction industry. Only 20 individuals have been invited to receive such a distinguished membership, which is given by invitation of the Board and Council members only.

CIC Chairman, Professor John Nolan commented:

“I consider it an honour to have had the opportunity to present a CIC honorary affiliate membership to Tony.  I have worked with him at CIC under his chairmanship and gained enormous respect for his drive, intellect and integrity. As an ongoing board member, he continues to be a massive contributor to and supporter of the works of CIC.”

G&T's Tony Burton commented:

“As Chairman of CIC I had the privilege to act in a role that looks across all of the built environment professions.  For those same professions to recognise my efforts on their behalf is a real honour.”

The CIC seeks to improve the UK construction industry by representing and supporting the built environment professions.  CIC Board Members meet up to eight times a year to discuss all sectors of the built industry, debating the complex and controversial issues within construction, offering a single voice for industry professionals.
