The project included the demolition of the existing building, which was formerly the headquarters of a major British newspaper before being acquired by Viridis Real Estate. The location of the new development is within short walking distance of Farringdon Station for easy access to the, soon to be completed, Crossrail/Elizabeth Line.

"The project team enjoyed amazing views of the city skyline and towards St Paul's Cathedral celebrating the topping out of The Ray."

Grant Jackson, G&T Associate

The new 140,000 sq ft office scheme, designed by AHMM, features exposed concrete soffits throughout 86,000 sq ft of high quality CAT A office accommodation, 14,200 sq ft of retail space and 6,500 sq ft of affordable workspace.

The design also includes landscaped terraces, in addition to a large rooftop terrace that takes in spectacular views towards The City and St Paul's Cathedral. These views were enjoyed by the project team at the topping out ceremony.
